I never had any interest in any photography, let alone astro-photography. But when I bought my 12" LX200 in December of 06, I got the cheapo DSI-Pro for $99 with it. Although the pictures I took with it were really bad (I'd show them here except I lost the hard disk on the laptop they were on), I was hooked.
I bought a Hutech-modified Canon 30D in May of '07 and started taking pictures every chance I got. I built an observatory in my front yard, got an Ultra-Wedge, and a Megrez 90 ED-APO to serve as a guide scope. First light in the observatory was mid-September of '07.
Since then, I've continued to shoot as often as possible, even when condtions are far from ideal. I'm located outside of Telford, PA, and the southeast sky is terrible. I post just about all of the pictures here, to share with others and (hopefully) to reflect the progress I make as I gain more experience.
I hope you enjoy them!
