NGC 3359 is a barred spiral galaxy located 59 million light years away in Ursa Major. Distance estimates vary greatly, ranging from 41 to 65 million light years. The galaxy has a small central bar with an inner ring that circles the bar.

I originally had the galaxy centered, but after stretching I thought the galaxy at upper right was interesting enough that I shifted the image crop to include it.
