Exposure: LRGB 195:105:110:100 All subs 5min. Luminance unbinned, RGB binned 2x2.
Calibrated and Stacked with CCDStack2; RGB combine and DDP with CCDStack2. Processed with CS4.
NGC 2903 is a barred spiral galaxy located in Leo, about 30 million light years away. It is slightly smaller than our Milky Way, at about 80,000 light years in diameter. With an apparent magnitude of 9.0, it is one of the brighter galaxies not catalogued by Charles Messier in his famous list.
